DRAUGHT BEER CAN YIELD TREMENDOUS PROFIT OR DRAIN TIME AND MONEY.

The Raising the Bar program is an initiative to improve the profitability and quality of draught beer through the implementation of a recognized set of standards for draught beer systems.

How does this work?

An inferior draught system costs the proprietor money.  Ineffective draught systems can account for as much as 30% lost profit.  System deficiencies such as ineffective trunk line cooling, the use of air compression systems and dirty lines are just some of the elements which contribute to profit loss and the over all  quality of the product.

The Beer Connection has developed an evaluation process to meet these needs. Through Rasing the Bar, TBC will send a certified draught technician to your establishment to complete a thorough and comprehensive report outlining your draught systems efficiency and profitability.

You will receive a detailed report outlining areas of your draught system that are affecting the quality and profitability, and recommendations will be made for improvements.

This assessment is a free service.

Should you decide to implement the Raising the Bar program, a system specialist will attend your venue once a month for a thorough cleaning of your system, including faucet disassembly and line cleaning.

A fifty point inspection will be performed each month to ensure standards are maintained. If your venue successfully meets the TBC approval process, you will receive a certification to display to your customers. (Similar to the DineSafe program implemented by Toronto Public Health)
